Frigidaire dryer vent cleaning
The single most useful thing that can be done to a dryer in South Florida, and the one job here that is a safety matter rather than a convenience. A duct that is long, bent and full of lint makes a healthy machine look broken, doubles cycle times and is a genuine fire risk. In apartment buildings the run is often shared and longer than anybody realizes.

The same order every time, so nothing is opened and nothing is charged before you have seen the figure and said yes.
-
01
Measure the airflow before starting
At the outside vent where it can be reached, so there is a baseline.
-
02
Clean from both ends
Machine end and outside end, with a brush through the run rather than a vacuum at one opening.
-
03
Check the flap at the outside
A flap held shut by lint or painted closed undoes the whole job.
-
04
Inspect the duct itself
Foil concertina hose is a lint trap and gets flagged for replacement with rigid duct.
-
05
Measure again and run a load
Airflow and cycle time compared with the baseline, and the lint shown to you.

Electric · gas · stacked centers Frigidaire dryer repair in Miami
Four dryers and three laundry centers in the current line, and every one of them vented — there is no heat-pump dryer under this badge. In South Florida the vent is most of the story: a duct that runs further than it should, through a wall into a corridor or up through a building, collecting lint at every bend. A dryer that takes two cycles to dry a load is almost never a broken dryer, and saying so before selling a part is the difference between a repair and a sale. The genuine problems, when they come, are the element or the burner, the thermostat and the cutout, the drum rollers and the belt.
- Every dryer here is vented — no heat-pump machine under this badge
- Long duct runs and lint explain more slow-drying calls than any part does
- Element or burner, cutouts, rollers and belt are the real failures

About Frigidaire dryer vent cleaning
The one job here that is worth booking before anything breaks
Every dryer this badge builds is vented, and in South Florida the duct is what decides how long the machine lives. Long runs through a condominium wall, flexible foil crushed behind a machine that was pushed back too far, a roof or soffit termination with a flap that no longer opens — all of them raise the temperature inside the cabinet on every cycle, which is what kills elements, fuses and bearings in that order. It is also the fire risk in a laundry closet, and that is not an exaggeration used to sell a service.

Questions about Frigidaire dryer vent cleaning
How do I know if my vent is restricted?
The clothes tell you first: a cycle that used to take fifty minutes now takes ninety, and the top of the machine is hot to the touch at the end. Both mean heat that should have left the building did not.
Is the lint screen not enough?
It catches perhaps three quarters of it on a good day, and the rest goes into the duct. That is by design — the screen protects the machine, not the run of pipe behind it.
